DaRonne Jenkins is a Marietta native who loves all-things sports. A former college football walk-on turned all-conference honoree, he has experience in what it takes to overcome all obstacles to fulfill one’s dreams. DaRonne has been in the allied healthcare field for over 10 years and has treated patients ranging in age from infants to over 100 years old with just as wide-ranging diagnoses. His philosophy is to treat every patient as a truly unique person, with the same care and concern he has for his own family members.

In the clinic, DaRonne prefers a hands-on approach with patients in addition to an emphasis on therapeutic exercises specifically tailored for each patient. He also creatively utilizes common household items as a more practical way of ensuring a patient’s compliance with home exercise programs. Because of his mixture of evidenced-based practices and outside the box applications, DaRonne has become a highly sought after therapist with exceptional outcomes for his patients.

DaRonne’s passion for physical therapy came from needing rehabilitation after a sports-related surgery as a college football athlete. While his therapy was adequate to restore “normal” function, it was not enough to bring him back to his pre-injury, athletic status. He has mixed the education and approaches from his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Sports Science degrees to be able assist clients in rehabilitating from or avoiding injury, while achieving peak performance. DaRonne has successfully rehabbed or trained athletes from all sports including baseball, basketball, football, gymnastics, water polo, mixed martial arts, soccer, and cheerleading.
